Teachers in part are the salt of the Earth, wouldn't you agree? They invest their lives in the lives of your children, to inspire and instill curiosity and understanding about the world around them. They help generate a future informed scientifically and engineering literate society by actively engaging students in hands-on exploration, making sense of science phenomenon and generating engineering solutions to authentic challenges in the world in which they live. But, they cannot do it alone! We need your support. Please consider donating.
We also accept online donations via credit card: https://www.support.vcu.edu/give/Education?des=280840
Why Invest in the Metro Richmond Science and Engineering Fair?
The Metro Richmond Science and Engineering Fair provides an opportunity for all students to engage in authentic scientific investigations and engineering solutions at a deep level beyond the classroom walls. For example, students may conduct fields studies and provide insight about environmental impacts to their local watershed ecosystem, or design a filter for clean water by recycling Styrofoam packing peanuts minimizing waste in landfill deposits!
Virginia Commonwealth University is committed to this initiative for the coming years and already has financial support from:
Won't you help join our efforts inspiring the next generation of future scientists, engineers and informed STEM citizens?
We have a role for you to contribute!
Through your generous donations and sponsorship we can engage more students in the opportunity to investigate, design and share their discoveries and innovations with their peers at the local, state and international level!
